BRIDGWATER TOWN DEAL BOARD

The Board is the vehicle through which the vision and strategy for the regeneration of Bridgwater is defined.

The Board consists of a range of members and partners, all committed to improving Bridgwater including (but not exclusive to):

  • Local Government representation (at a County and Town Council level)
  • Representation of local businesses
  • Representation from local communities
  • The Heart of the South West Local Enterprise Partnership
  • Local education establishments

The Board’s key tasks have been to:

  • Develop and agree an evidenced based Town Investment Plan
  • Develop a clear programme of interventions
  • Coordinate resources and influence stakeholders.
